ive been wanting to do this lain pic for a while and finally did it
the text is take from yoshitoshi's illustration book for lain
i always enjoy doing work inspired by ABe being my favorite artist and all im still on the look for his new stuff for despera
went though his book and tried to find a an outfit i liked for lain but none of his really fit the mood of this pic so i took a similar one and messed around with it. i also didnt know what her hair was from behind had to guess on that one

This reminds me how awesome mirrors are in artwork. And yeah, I think the back of her hair is accurate judging from official art where its basically just hacked off. Lain has got to have one of the least stylish messy-as-heck hair - and I love her for it. Good work on the drawing - and nothing like meaningful text to help fill up blank white space. ^_^
